Neru: Seeking Justice is a Malayalam movie directed by Jeethu Joseph. Features Mohanlal in the movie Neru as the lead character with Priyamani, Anaswara Rajan, Jagadish (PV Jagadish Kumar), Siddique, Nandu, Sreedhanya, Mathew Varghese, Kalesh, Santhi Mayadevi, Ganesh Kumar, Dinesh Prabhakar, Sankar Induchoodan, Ramadevi, Resmi Anil, Dr. Prashanth, and many other new faces are lined up. The movie Neru is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. The story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film Neru are written by Santhi Mayadevi and Jeethu Joseph.
The cinematography of the film is handled by Satheesh Kurup and VS Vinayak does the editing. The chief associate director of the film Neru is Sudeesh Ramachandran and the executive producer is Santhy Antony
Mohanlal came to Chithranjali Studio to act in the film Neru, which started shooting in Thiruvananthapuram, and Mohanlal started acting in the film on 31st August 2023. Mohanlal was acting in a Telugu film called Vrushabha in Mysore at this time. Mohanlal has now reached Thiruvananthapuram after completing a schedule of the film Vrushabha and attending some inauguration ceremonies in Chennai and Kochi. After a lengthy absence after Lucifer, Mohanlal traveled to this city, which is important to him and where he was born and raised, to shoot a movie. Mohanlal would be in Thiruvananthapuram for roughly one and a half months to complete the movie's filming, according to producer Antony Perumbavoor.
Mohanlal caught everyone's eye since he was a little leaner, dressed differently, and had a black shirt, a heavy beard, glasses, and a different haircut. On a set that art director Boban had designed, filming took place. Together with Mohanlal, other actors, including Jagadish, Ganesh Kumar, Anaswara Rajan, Santhi Mayadevi, and Sreedhanya, also took part in the filming at this location.
